Port Moody Residence

The Story Behind the Space
This newly built contemporary residence in Port Moody, British Columbia, was photographed shortly after completion, with the intention of preserving the stillness and warmth embedded in the design. Created from the ground up, the architecture balances sculptural forms with softness, allowing natural light to shape the atmosphere of each interior space.
Time on site was limited, and the weather remained gently overcast. Rather than forcing brightness, the approach centered on observing how diffused light moved through the rooms — revealing depth, material texture, and quiet transitions between volumes.
The resulting interior photography captures more than form. It documents an atmosphere — calm, intentional, and refined — reflecting a collaboration between architect, designer, and builder where detail and restraint define the experience of the home.
